What Compressor is Mike using just not and how to set it up to the desk

Looking for recommendation for compressor i have a soundcraft m12 spirit

and what would be the best to hook this is up to the compressor

Could i have a few choices of mics your can recommend

Hi robert,
why do you want to have a compressor? on your mic or on the whole mix??

I’d recommend the dbx range. If you want a compressor for your mic you can’t go wrong with the dbx286s. If you want a compressor for your overall output then consider the dbx166xs although if you go down this route you’d need an interface to get the compressed output back into the computer.
