Using EQ Envelopes in Multitrack

Hello, I am fairly new to Adobe Audition CC, after upgrading from Audition 1.5.

I have found the YouTube videos extremely helpful and have managed to create several sweepers for my radio shows.

However, I am trying to create a music montage and would like one music track to gradually fade to a high EQ so that I can then go into another music track. In multitrack, I know how to show the envelopes and select the EQ, but when I move the lines up and down, it doesn’t change the sound.

Hopefully I have explained my problem ok. If anyone knows how I can do this, please let me know.

You need to use EQ automation here. It’s a pretty slick feature! Here’s a video of my doing this (from a long time ago) but will suit you as older Adobe Audition version. All those principles still apply today to new users too :slight_smile:
