Hi Good People

Just purchased Mike’s presets for Audacity and busy playing with them … more with the “radio imaging” preset as I do imaging production for in store radio.

Maybe a silly question (but I’m still new at this so pls forgive me) - do I still need to use Mike’s "“Audacity mastering steps” after I have used the radio imaging preset? It seems to take something away from the ‘after preset’ audio …

Any and all input appreciated …

Hey there! If you feel the ‘radio imaging’ preset already gives you the sound you want then stick with that. You might not need additional mastering steps.

Although mastering can add that final polish so it really depends. Trust your ears or upload some samples here for sure.
