Configuring an optimod is much more than just configure a compressor. In fact the Orban 5500 is a complete broadcast processor. The manual which you can find on the internet gives you a good start but setting up a broadcast processor is difficult (it took me a while to understand it all) There are, I guess, a few factory settings, maybe this is a good start but you really need to know what stereoenhanchment, AGC, Multibandcompression, clipping and things like that do.
