OBS Course Equipment

Good afternoon MRC Fam!

I am about to sign up for @Mike’s OBS course. Can anyone provide me with the list of equipment that you need for the course? I would love to have all the gear before I start the class this way I don’t have to wait to get started.

Hi @jayallen good to hear from you and thanks for asking about this!

I’m sure you’ll already have some of the gear here but here are some of my recommendations. I’d suggest any microphone and one of the audio interfaces at a minimum. However, you can get into the advanced stuff and mix multiple channels of audio if you’re using a Soundcraft Signature 12 MTK from the list below.

@Mike thank you for making the list. Here is what I currently have AKG C414 XLII, SoundCraft Signature 12, MTK and the DBX 286s. I know which audio processor you are recommending but with my setup, which of the 3 interfaces do you recommend?
