I have Pro Presets v3.1 and for some reason now when I export a multitrack mixdown, the resulting audio sounds like I’m talking through a plastic tube. I’ve concluded it’s a preset issue, because I’ve tested exporting the same audio through a standard Audition session and the audio is fine. I had created my own preset template (I deleted the extra mic tracks etc to tidy up the timeline), so I tested also on the master copy. Same issue.
I’ve attached 2 files - one is the mixdown using the preset to illustrate the issue, the other is a mixdown of the same audio from a standard Audition session.
I’m supposed to get this podcast episode out the door today and I’ve spent the past 2 hours tearing my hair out. I’m not doing anything different to what I have been doing for the past 4 years using these templates and don’t understand what’s going wrong. I am using Audition 2025 on a PC.
Can anyone advise please?
