@Mike you did a great job a year ago on Audacity! Perhaps as time, tools and tricks move on, it would be a great show to replicate the removal of Videos !

There’s now a whole category to suggest show ideas and get other users to vote on them. I like this idea of a removing vocals show. It’s not always possible to do this well but there are certainly some tricks I could talk about on the stream.

If the vocal is dead centre on a stereo track, you can phase invert to hollow out the centre.
I was asked to remove a mildly offensive word from a song earlier on today. (Link to video screen grab attached.) Am I doing this right? Or is there a more precise way?
