Help with a decent set up please

Good morning (or afternoon), just need a bit of help, so my current set up, Rodecaster Pro 2, Rode NT-1 signature series, all been recorded onto Adobe Audition, via my MacBook Air, (USB), just wondering what the best set up for the mic is? What gain etc,

There really isn’t an answer that fits all unfortunately. It all depends on the recording environement, your voice etc. So somebody would have to spend time and fine tune it for your exact needs.
