HELP! Strange clipping in audio file

Hello friends, I come to you with a disaster: one of my raw radio files has a bunch of strange clipping noises in an extensive part of it (maybe up to an hour!) I have no idea what caused this - this seems to be the only time this has happened. Maybe my mic was loose when I was making the recording.

However it got here, I have to clean it up. I’m using Adobe Audition; if anyone has any tips or suggestions about how you’d approach a problem like this one, I’m all ears. Thanks in advance!

This is hard to clean without spot healing manually in Audition I’d say iZotope RX is a good bet for this kind of issue and try de-click.

I appreciate the advice; I’ll try that if I run into this issue again. Unfortunately I had to deal with the issue 3 months ago and not now, so I re-recorded it.
