I am looking for a source that can let me record radio for free. I want to play on my old-fashion car using USB drive. My car stereo was broken.
I am now using NoteBurner Music One, in which there is a free section to record MP3 radio. But I need to record more. Any suggestion?
There are several websites where you can find free music downloads that are legal and often copyright-free. Here are some of the best sites to look for free music:
- Jamendo - Offers a wide selection of music under Creative Commons licenses.
- TuneCable BeatOne - Supports free downloadings podcasts and radio from renowned sites.
- SoundCloud - While not all content is free, SoundCloud has a vast library where artists often share their work for free.
- Free Music Archive (FMA) - Curated, hand-picked music that’s free and legal to enjoy.
- Internet Archive - Hosts a variety of media including music that is in the public domain or has been uploaded with permission.
- Bandcamp - Some artists offer their music for free or pay-what-you-want pricing.
- YouTube Audio Library - Provides music and sound effects that can be used for free, especially useful for creators making videos.
- CC Mixter - A community of musicians sharing original music and remixes using Creative Commons licenses.
- Freesound - Great for sound effects and samples, but also has full tracks; users should check the license on each track.
- NoiseTrade - A platform where artists can share their music directly with fans for free.
- Reverbnation - Some artists use this platform to share their music and may offer free downloads.
Audacity is free and easy but you may find something like VLC Player can record streams.
