Distorted audio in Adobe Audition

I have been using Adobe Audition without issue for almost a year now. I use a USB audio codec which is on the my mixer.

Today, I took my studio apart completely to do a better job of cabling, isolating power from audio cables, labeling, etc. Everything is working perfectly except my ability to record into Audition. The levels look good on screen while recording, but the playback is very distorted. This issue is exclusive to Audition because I use the same USB Audio Codec into my Broadcast Software and it sounds great. I assume then it’s a setting in Audition that must have changed, and I can’t seen to figure it out.
I have attached a small mp3 to show the problem, and to see if anyone has an idea of what I need to do to resolve this. I any ideas would be welcome.

Sometimes this happens to me,in hardware settings AU try different sound drivers apply,then switch to drivers that you using apply,close AU then start again this solution works for me.
