Can Adobe Audition do this?

I have linked a cut taken from a pre-produced radio show. Unfortunetaly not mine :slight_smile: What you hear is no simple ducking but a mix of music and voice that is very harmonic.
When the DJ talks it does not seem the music having a lower volume. Is there any way producting this broadcast sound?

This is likely done using OPTIMOD tech that compresses radio stations really nicely. You can do similar by setting up a sidechain compressor in Audition and running the Vocal Enhancer effect on setting “Music” on the music channel. Finally, I’d put Multiband Compressor with the “Broadcast” preset on the Master channel to get a similar sound. Have fun!
