Hi!
I am new to audio production and mastering an audio book recording for the first time. I’ve watched a ton of videos, mostly Mike’s, and am wondering if there is a certain order to do the mastering? I’ve figured out that I need to do noise reduction, compression, normalizing etc, but is there an order that I should be doing these?
Noise first always then work on some EQ, DeEssing and finally compress and limit.
