I am looking for some help in identifying what kind of effect is in the below piece of audio and how I can achieve this!

A warm welcome @Zach!

It sounds to me like a little distortion/saturation/top end exciter and a stutter on the i-i-is bit. Easily replicated with the Distortion plugin and copy paste inside Adobe Audition :slight_smile:

What is the effect used on the i-i-is stutter?

Sounds to me like a high and low pass filter isolating just some of the mid frequencies.
