Tascam Model 12 usage.

I have a question about Tascam Model 12. When using it as an audio interface/controller, does the recording keep the effects and eq or it is a row/flat recording? Thank you in advance for your response.

Iā€™m pretty sure the Tascam Model 12 works in a similar way to the Soundcraft Signature 12 MTK. This means each individual channel is pre-fader (before EQ, compression etc.) and the final mix channels are post-fader (final mix with all desk tweaks including EQ and compression).

This means you can then record the flat audio into a multitrack session and add your own processing to each channel and/or the master channel in your audio editor.
