Poor audio recording over Squadcast

I was wondering if I could get some advice? I did a recording over Squadcast the other day and I have tried several different ways to improve the sound quality but it still sounds rubbish, please could someone have a quick listen and let me know if I am waisting my time trying to improve it for my podcast or should I a record the interview when I can get to do it face to face?

I am working in the latest edition of Adobe Audition on a MacBook Air.

The audio sample you posted is already treated though is it? Can you please post a completely raw sample of what you have managed to record? It may be easier to see how to fix it as it never is a good idea to try and fix what has already been altered to some degree :slight_smile:
