Cloudlifter / dbx286s

I’m buying my first SM7b and know I need more gain. I watched Booth Junkie on YouTube say that you could get a DBX286s and it would give you enough clean gain and also the extra tools (comp, gate, de-esser) which sounds like a winner to me. I just saw another post here claim that their signal chain had BOTH the dbx and the cloudlifter.

Before I buy this 286s, will it do the trick for me or would I still need the cloudlifter?
