Hi folks, Greg writing from Ottawa, Canada. I’m new to Audition. My problem is audio files that seem to auto-copy. I’m getting copies of copies of copies. I don’t know where to look in preferences to stop this process. Any suggestions? Cheers, Greg
That shouldn’t happen unless you click to make a copy in multitrack. You can sometimes get a duplicate filename with .pk as the extenstion. These are small files that can contain waveform information. You can disable this happening in Preferences > Media & Disk Cache…
