Audition Internal Clock Setting Chsnge

Hi there Audition Pros!

I’m having an issue syncing audio recorded using Audition in Premiere. The audio drifts in the sequence and have tried several different methods to get it to sync with no luck.

I’ve come to a sort of conclusion that the issue is from a setting in Audition concerning its internal clock.

Can anyone provide any tips/tricks on how to change that in Audition?

Thanks for all your help and happy to answer any questions to get to the bottom of this wacky issue.

That audio sync sounds frustrating!

To fix the audio drift in Premiere, first check that the sample rates in Audition and Premiere match (Audition: Preferences > Audio Hardware; Premiere: Sequence Settings). Also, tweak the Audio Hardware settings in Audition to make sure your device class and buffer size are correctly set for your hardware. If issues persist, re-conform the audio in Premiere by modifying its channels, and ensure your external audio gear’s clock syncs well with your setup. If nothing works, a software update or reinstall might do the trick. Hope this helps!
