It’s time to get philosophical, what about this controversial subject regarding the way of tuning instruments. Some people said that at 432, the sound is more comfortable and so on, other wants to change the way of teaching music theory by changing this frequency. I personally disagree on that. 440 hz (A) for me it’s the right way, even your telephone tone it’s (A), but again, opinions are many. And you?
Many orchestras still use 442 as concert pitch and some records in the US were imported to the UK with it too and sounded brighter that the UK pressing. I am showing my age now.
Take any fundamental tone and devide it’s fifth and magic maths start to happen.
